Underestimated life maxim: Stay honest. Stay simple. Stay enthusiastic.
The most precious treasures on the path of human progress are honesty, simplicity and mental force.
In no area of life should you allow the standard of honesty to decline.
In no situation, except in the fight for Dharma [spiritual righteousness], should you practise artificial diplomacy or double-dealing.
In other words, you must conduct yourself as sincerely in all other areas as in Sastáuṋga Prańáma [spiritual prostration], and you must take care that the fire of your mental force is never buried under a heap of ashes.
None of these three – honesty, simplicity and mental force – is found in dogma, so you should strictly avoid dogma.
