Where do moral, wise and capable politicians come from?

“We need moral, wise and capable politicians who pursue peace politics, not war politics.”

That’s what I wrote in an X post.

“Fine — and where do we get them?” an X user asked.

“Thank you. I appreciate your question,” I answered. And:

“We can act morally, wisely and capably when we practice discipline and reflection.

These politicians come from our midst.

That is what I strive for.”
